pretty sure you would just resort to the no true Scotsman fallacy and say "they weren't real slick fighters"

Canelo and Jacobs are slick. Canelo was slick as hell in the first bout. But, I think your mean slick out-boxer. We could have seen if BJS didn't duck him.

When you talk about slickness, I automatically associate this with African American fighters..

And the fact of the matter is? This style of slickness has been deficient in the current generation of African American fighters.

I have no idea why this is.

Terrence Crawford, but that is about it. I would not regard Spence Junior has slick.

Canelo Alvarez has some slickness, but only a fraction.

How about name them. I'm not sure you understand what slick means.

I am trying to find the video clip of Bernard Hopkins, explaining to Kelly Pavlik what slickness is after their fight.

But as I stated just before, there are not many slick fighters at elite level these days.

Slick fighters/ movers were never going to beat Golovkin. It was always going to take a fighter like Canelo, someone who was willing to stay in the pocket and outgun him.

If he fought Lara, Lara would get broken down and knocked out. It would be reminiscent of Hurtado vs. Tzsyu but worse.

He beat Willie Monroe who was planned to face carnelo after he beat Rosado but carnelo and his camp chickened out.

Name the slick fighters you think he avoided? How many slick fighters have other MW champs fought? How many did Charlo or Andrade fight?

Golovkin is a great fighter and even at 40 and looking every day of 40 he went into a shootout and stopped the guy, lots of times I thought GGG was going to get overtaken but every time he came back hard, most slick MWs would get broken down by GGG, its takes an elite fighter to beat him regardless of style.

Hope he retires Canelo is not a good fight for him now he has slowed and gets hit a lot, he looked very old in the legs and was getting hurt by body shots from the second round, there was one rip in that round I don't think he fully recovered from for the rest of the fight, GGG showed a lot of grit to win.
