GGG cannot afford to be tagged to the body by Canelo the way he was by Murata, so he will have to fight with much more defensive responsibility.

To be fair, Murata does have a 75in reach so those shots are going to be easier to land from farther away, especially his straight right to the body that he was throwing. And Canelo does not have anywhere near the output that Murata was showing through 8 and 2/3ish rounds.

Was Murata better than Saunder, Plant? When Canelo fought undefeated champions they say, paper champions! When GGG fights overrated champs he is the greatest? Get the FOOH! How many elite fighters has GGG fought? How many divisions has GGG conquered? Canelo will ko this overrated chump! Mexican Style!

This is a straw man argument. Who is arguing GGG is the greatest?

If you rate him as a top 20 ATG, you rate him extremely highly.

I like GGG; I think he's an excellent boxer, elite level for many years, but don't remotely rate him that high.

Not counting numerous interim champions GGG has fought seven current or former World Champions.

He conquered the same number of divisions as Marvin Hagler (who always gets a free pass on that subject).

"Overrated chump??" Why do disrespectful? It's not like GGG walks around with a chip on his shoulder. He's FORTY years old and he's a unified World Champion. I'd love to see what you look like and what you've accomplished in life. So easy to cast aspersions at World Champions from behind your keyboard. Canelo couldn't come close to knocking GGG out or even hurting him in two prior fights. If he is able to ko the 40 year old version of "this overrated chump" I guess that won't be much of an accomplishment will it?

I saw a lot of ring rust. Once he settled down getting his timing and rhythm he was much better. It looked like when he fought Brook, once he slow down into his groove it was game over.
