SAN ANTONIO - Oscar De La Hoya envisions more greatness for the superstar he previously and proudly promoted for a decade. The Hall of Fame former six-division champion and founder/chairman of Golden Boy Promotions believes Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez will run the tables in his 2022 campaign, which could include a third fight with Gennadiy 'GGG' Golovkin. The two are on course to meet September 17, provided they both win their upcoming fights.

Yet Canelo is still aging him even further LOL If GGG even looks half of what he use to this sat Canelo will wait him out.

It's funny how they all admit that Canelo waited GGG out - this time to make sure he'll beat him convincingly. I don't care about the 3rd fight - there is no glory in beating an aged fighter no matter how great he was. Where all of them were when GGG was 32?

I would want to see a third fight purely because its big and good for boxing, but yeah, it would feel kind of like a strategic attempt for Canelo to be able to say 10, 20, 30 years from now "see, I knocked him out, I was always better than him" overlooking the fact that hes literally in his 40s now.

Well seeing as how Canelo went life and death with him when he was 36 & 37, At 40 years old & a ton of inactivity, you just might be on to something Oscar

Fact: no opponent has been as competitive with Canelo since the two triple G fights.

Fact: GGG no longer has the ability to fight like that anymore

Fact: Oscar is still coked out

Possibly at a higher weight it could happen but it would be to the body imo if he did stop him because GGG was hurt to the body against chenko and he wasn't liking the body shots from canelo in the second fight and he's alot older and slowing down. But I still think GGG will come fight always but I think the ships sailed now of him ever getting a W against canelo should of in the first fight but it is what it is at this point

If it plays out that way, his super groupies will cry about his advanced age !!!

GGGeezer will look like a teenager when he fights BUMS
Turns into present day Woody Allen when he steps up.

                Typical hype job.

i think people will be shocked with how good ggg is going to look against murata and it will really build a third fight with canelo up
even though ggg will be 40 i still give him a huge chance to pull off the upset
also i dont think canelo will stop ggg ever
