It all depends on how GGG interacts with Banks. His trainer has been trying to convert him into a slick, weavey-dodgy, slipping, feinting, ducky-bobby guy. And that’s just not what got GGG a date to the world championship prom. He got there by straight-ahead stalk-em, corner-em, beat-em down flat. If GGG will return to that, he’ll knock out Murata. If he tries to mimic a Mayweather-style defense with crafty counterpunching and dazzling footwork, I could easily see him losing a decision.
problem is he needs to always be coming forward.
he can’t box moving back, and he’s not that quick or a good counter puncher.
Like you said he needs to stalk (without eating shots) and he needs that mean streak back.
He use to intimidate the hell out of guys with his power. He was the Terminator in there.
Banks is trying to turn him into a pure boxer which doesn’t work well for him especially at age 40.
GGG blocks and covers well, has an absurd ******* jab and ko power in both hands.
Banks is not the trainer for him. Someone like Sugar Hill, Freddie roach etc would be a better fit.
offensive minded trainers.
GGG is the epitome of a champion.
no entourage, no bull****, no **** talking, no drama or controversy. Just fights.
I’ll root for him until he retires.Comment

My brother, let me say thank you. I always appreciate something new. That’s cool that you took time to explain it. I’ve only seen it among Mongolian wrestlers (show an idiot abroad) and Ruslan wearing one. Appreciate you.Comment
