Teo blew his wad before the fight even happened and that's why he lost. He was either way over trained and burnt out before the fight got started or the more likely scenario is he was under trained and cut weight the wrong way thinking the fight wasnt going through and topped it off by starting the opening bell fighting like a tough man contest participant. Haney is a boxer not a knockout artist and likely teaches a boxing lesson to Kambosos

Well I wouldn't say nobody is getting knocked out. Kambosas is not getting knocked out but if Haney loses focus and kambosas clips him there could be trouble. Look at the Linares fight. If kambosas is able to do the same it could be lights out for Haney. On the other hand if Haney keeps his composure throughout and is able keep kambosas from closing the distance he should be able to outbox him and get a non controversial win

Hard to pick this one--Haney is a slick boxer but Kambosos is tough & determined. We will see.

Nobody is elite at lightweight but the closest is Loma and he lost.

For me, Teo was 'off' in that fight. Fans like to think that the bestversion of a fighter shows up at every fight and there shouldn't be any excuses but that's not reality. The best version of us doesn't show up at work every single day and our performance is not the same every day or even every week/month/year.

It doesn't matter why Teo was 'off' - could've been health or over-training or home life or poor advice or struggling to make weight or any combo of them. All that matters was that he put in a performance that was sub-par compared to previous ones. You could say that Kombosos made him sub-par but I don't see a guy rising out of nowhere to defenestrate a borderline pound for pound top ten fighter.

I go by what i see not the excuses fighter make afterwards. What i saw was Teo getting consistently outboxed, beaten to the punch, unable to deal with Kambosos’ movement or aggression. What i didn’t see was Teo running out of steam in any way. He was just slower and less mobile. That’s it.

What’s more I don’t see it as a fluke in any way. Until someone beats Kambosos in my opinion he’s the top dog in the division and deservedly so. Nobody else wanted to fight Teo and he did exactly what he said, took it to him and beat him conclusively in his own back yard. His tactics were **** on and he deserved the win - just like when Teo beat Loma. Neither was a fluke or due to the other fighter being injured. That’s just crap they say afterwards to save face.

As far as Haney goes, i reckon he’s flakey. He always gets hit clean at some point and he’s been very lucky to have finished his last few fights. His skills aren’t all that and he’s no natural. I like Kambosos’ approach and mindset. A proper throwback fighter and as he says he’s paid his dues. I think he’ll get his tactics right again against Haney and wouldn’t be at all surprised if he does stop him as even though he’s not a big puncher, he’s calculatingly aggressive and Haney doesn’t react well under pressure and his chin ain’t great.

This fight could go either way. I have seen George in there with a top level 135lb'er and handle himself quite well. Haney hasn't been tested like that yet but will in this fight. Gonna be a great fight to watch
