Doesn’t matter who he trained for. What is someone going to put across the ring from pacquiao at this point that he hasn’t already seen either in tape, sparring, watching other fights etc, over the time he’s been in the sport. Pacquaio was great but he had little to nothing left. Most fighters over 35 don’t. There is a reason most mens ailments start mid 30s and later.

I'm crossing my fingers that Murata beats GGG because that way we might have an undisputed 175 champion this year but I don't see it.

Murata style is taylor made for GGG.

        GGG by KO.

I love GGG and think he can still pull it off at 40, but Canelo is too young. Don't think he can pull off rematch!

Age affects everyone differently. Compare Klitschko at 41 and Tyson at 35.

ggg usually wins when his jab is working

not sure he can do that vs a bigger and longer murata

interested to see how ggg approaches this fight

Murata is 5 years younger but equally inactive. If Golovkin would be fighting a credible contender-level opponent in their early 30s I'd say he'd lose.

did I read that Murata is 38 ?

I coulda checked... but, oh well

expecting anything other than a stoppage win... against a very hittable, inactive, b-level opponent... is making weak excuses for Golovkin

all you guys who did that... are 100% admitting that he does not deserve to face the best fighter in the world

if he struggles with Murata, Canelo is gonna smash his face in LMAO
