I would say 168 is his optimal weight i.e Where he is no longer weight draining himself dramatically.

At 160, he is still weight draining himself extensively to be the big man.

      175 he is comfortable.

So as you can see, for the most part of his career. Alvarez has been weight draining himself to be the big man.

I think sooner or later these tactics will back fire on his performance. They already did vs Mayweather, but what I am referring to his a accumulative affect on his fitness currently.

      - - Canelo Franchise Weight, what ever weight he wanna be.

I suggest he won't ever be at 168 again. No stars at that weight and more accomplishments at LH/Cruiser before retirement.

Split the difference and I'll say 175?

Height and reach won't be there BUT considering his natural weight is roughly 190 anyways.

He could probably be 175 with no effort in weight loss.

Maximum performance though? 168 for sure. He's truthfully unbothered by anyone in the division.

152-155 has been his best weight so far. We’ll see how he does at 175. I don’t rate that Kovalev fight at all. Ward owned his soul long before Canelo got to him.

Take him off the PEDs. Then we should know. Probably a 154-160 tweener

He is no giant, I think you are going way over the top.

Alvarez packs on muscle upon muscle, his frame is not as dense as you are making out.

His weight draining tactics, will and are having a accumulative affect. I think Alvarez is struggling already.

He looks more comfortable at 175 than 160. He packs on muscle upon muscle bcs his body type is suitable for that. I think your last hope is some diseases after his retirement. Bad news for you, he won't have neither brain diseases nor muscle diseases. He will move on healthy and rich.

Did you put on your pink lipstick and matching leotards before jerking it to your favorite sweaty Canelo poster today?

I am talking about his boxing career. His weight draining tactics, are having accumulative affect.

Because those tactics have a accumulative affect on all fighters who want to be the big man.

He is already struggling in my opinion.

I watched a interview with Peter Fury early today. And he stated 'That sometimes when you are getting out boxed, you just have to accept the situation and think? Right lets just make a fight of this'.

Canelo Alvarez when he fought Floyd Mayweather Junior was getting out boxed, Mayweather was operating at a level of comprehension that was Alien to Alvarez. Alvarez in that situation with being the big man, should of thrown caution to the wind and turned the boxing match into a fight.

Alvarez was unable to do this, he did not have the gears or ability. And this was due to his weight draining tactics back firing.

If a fighter puts Alvarez in this situation again, or even if he is getting out worked. I am not sure he can react, he has never shown that he can adapt to this sort of challenge in my opinion.

If Alvarez is to lose a fight, I don't think it will be down to a opponent being better than him skill for skill. It will be due to lack of gears, and endurance.
