Rashidi “Speedy” Ellis signs with PBC

My bad if there’s already a article/thread, but curious on y’all’s thoughts?

who would y’all want to see him in with first? Lipnets maybe?

He’s only fought twice since 2018, so they’ll probably look to knock some ring rust before anything significant.

Just hope they can get him in the ring at least twice if not 3 times a year

Ellis vs Jamal James would be a decent fight.

Happy for Rashidi, GBP never cared for him probably was hoping somehow Rocha would defeat him I'm sure which of course did not happen

Yeah, it's odd that he hasn't fought since then considering it was a good crossroads kind of win but somehow Rocha had more momentum after the loss. LIke you said it's likely promoter political bs.

Good for him. Pbc is a safe haven for those type of fighters

Ellis needed a change of scenery tbh. GBP completely wasted his momentum and it's not like they were gonna match him against their golden goose in Ortiz.

True. I don't see much changing for him at PBC though. Maybe an easy fight then a nice profile one then he'll sit on the sideline like most PBC fighters. Hopefully not
