Comments Thread For: DiBella: Haney's A Man Of His Word; Said He Wanted The Kambosos Fight & He Proved It

By Keith Idec - Lou DiBella applauded his lightweight champion, George Kambosos Jr., first and foremost. Kambosos' ambition is the primary reason DiBella initially made a deal with Bob Arum's Top Rank Inc. for the undefeated, unified 135-pound champion to battle Vasiliy Lomachenko on June 5 at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. Then it was Kambosos' insistence on replacing Lomachenko with Haney that initiated more complicated negotiations that eventually led to Kambosos-Haney becoming a reality.

Yea, he is "a man of his word".
      But Kambozo is not!

Lou DiBella says to give Haney, and his dad credit for being a man of his word, and he proved it (yeah by giving into your extortionist demands).
The hell with the credit pay the man, and don't make him agree to indentured servant type stipulations.
Haney's earning less than Kambosos in their first fight, and if he beats Kambosos he'll earn less in the rematch as well.
On top of that both fights are taking place in Kambosos' hometown/country, even worse DiBella has options on Haney's next 2 fights after that.
Lou DiBella isn't just a ****** pig, he's a conniving thief of mafioso type proportions, if you ever meet this sob you'll see what I mean.
He made Haney sign away to years of his boxing career to him for the right to fight for the unification of all the titles at 135 pounds.

I guess this proves that Eddie doesnt do his absolute best to get his fighters the fights they want, thankfully Haney wasnt under contract and was able to negotiate on his own, if under contract he would of probably never get the shot and now he can face so many other guys, stardom and good paydays, Loma, Teo, Jose Ramirez, Shakur

So it’s a 4 fight contract? Where did you hear this?

It's only 3 fights to my understanding 1st fight with Kambosos and the second if he opts to stay at 135 but if he moves up to 140 its 2 fights remaining

I wouldn't call myself a Haney hater but I prefer a fighter with a good punch. And he does not have it. I really like this move though. You want something? Earn it in the ring. Erase the email champ image you are known for and replace with the champion of the ring image. Lets see it

What are you complaining about doe?
Eddie Hearn is all Haney got according to Devin.
Hearn let him go because he got nothing for him.
PBC want nothing to do with him. Why are you crying?
                    I don't get it.
