Another Sub-par Fight Talked About For Cotto-Pacquiao Undercard

I’ve been told because of the severity of Montiel’s cut, he has been scratched from appearing on the Manny Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto pay-per-view undercard on November 14Th versus Eric Morel. A fight that is being kicked around to replace it is IBF jr. flyweight titlist, Brian Viloria, fulfilling his mandatory against Omar Nino. - Steve Kim

We need a fight to wake us after Santos-Boreman put everyone to sleep. Viloria-Nino is not it, I want to see Valero-Soto type action.

That may actually be a decent fight though if Viloria shows up more aggressive and not coming in with his Rocky Juarez style of fighting. The time that Nino beat Viloria on VS was the only time I'd seen Nino fight. I know he has a KO win over Jorge Arce from back in the day.

That would be horrible. 2 times was already enough.

Did they fight two times and not only once? I didn't know that.
