Don't know anywhere near enough about sparring, have no idea of to what degree high level sparring helps, I just assume from my noob's perspective that it does.Fury's sparring has never been top class, but? It does not matter.
I have noticed that most heavyweight champions since Wladimir Kiltschko have poor sparring.
David Haye was another fighter, who would employ very high class sparring partners in camps.
At this stage in Fury's career, he knows how to fight. It is all about getting and staying in condition.
But considering all the duffers I normally hear about employed to fight with decent boxers, I just assume it becomes a glorified muscle memory and, as you say, conditioning exercise ahead of much else.Comment

It is low hanging fruit for sure, but I mean, come on... the articles aren't dropped on this website so that they can attract barely a second glance. Most people in boxing, let alone fans, want Miller nowhere near it any form, let alone sparring.
While I personally, watch and enjoy watching a lot of drugs cheats, there's no way this story doesn't attract steroid-related commentary from most other fans.Comment

Jared Anderson gave himself the Real Big Baby name as a jab at Miller as saying he’s the real fighter . I wonder if both are in camp together ? Could be interesting sparring there if Anderson’s injury didn’t effect his sparring status over there ?Comment

Fury's usual sparring partner would beat Whyte, but unfortunately he's injured so we won't see him on the undercard.Fury's sparring has never been top class, but? It does not matter.
