  • Comments Thread For: Ugas' Trainer: Errol Spence 'Not The Same Fighter' That Fought With Shawn Porter

Ismael Salas surprisingly stated Wednesday that he doesn't think the same Errol Spence Jr. that beat Shawn Porter 2 1/2 years ago still exists. Yordenis Ugas' trainer bluntly told Premier Boxing Champions' Ray Flores at his gym in Las Vegas that Spence's car accident in October 2019 noticeably changed the undefeated southpaw for the worse. Spence defeated Danny Garcia convincingly in their 12-round fight nearly 14 months later, but Salas saw a diminished Spence in that fight for his IBF and WBC welterweight titles at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

I agree, they fed him robotic danny garcia to make people believe that spence is the same fighter before the crash. I'm going with Ugas with the upset

Salas may be right...And after that Danny fight, Errol suffered a retina injury.

No excuses for Ugas not to get it done then.

Not like Spencer looked dominant or impressive against porter. Also Spencer had alot of time to rest from his fake injury so he might look good.

Even pre-crash Spenk barely beat Porter by SD. Ugas will upset post-crash Spenk.

He would have beat the sht out of Pac, they don't watch the hype you get spoon-fed, Errol was also working the house down, he just did it behind closed doors insiders said it was the best they had seen him.

The thread is true there is big cloud over Errol going into this fight, he has been a long time out dealing with major issues while Ugas is riding a high, its a very good win if Errol wins clearly just because he cannot be 100% with his lead into the fight, it is probably closer to 80%, will that be enough, answers coming up \.

Regardless of how the fight turns out, I’m certain Ugas will walk into the ring and give his all. That’s one thing you can count on. Yordenis has made the most out of every opportunity he’s been granted. I like him very much for that very fact. Could well be an upset.

A lot of people are saying Spence isn't the same fighter that he was before Porter, and definitely after the accident. This fight shall so exactly where Spence is.

Like the fake injury Cryin Ryan had?
