I don't think that Benavidez can beat Beterbiev, at this point in time, but he does have a chance.
Benavidez would have to box his ass off all night, and not get hurt because Beterbiev is a finisher.
Beterbiev is up there in age, and in a year or two I can see him getting beat due to the age factor.

Fantasy fights are only a hoot if your comparing fighters from completely different era's.
Otherwise fantasy fights can be made especially if both fighters are actively plying their trade.
Fantasy fights are simply a thought until it's turned into reality by the fighters actually coming to terms, and fighting each other.

Whats beterbiev done for this reputation? 17 pro fights with only 1 good win? Benavidez is a better fighter in areas and would piece up beterbiev and make him look like a heavy bag. Way too fast and too much volume. its clear that Benavidez is actually very underrated, most people still dont understand how good he is.

Since this will be PPV in Canada I hope it's actually available in my region. It's silly when all the American fights are available on PPV everywhere while many Canadian fights are only available to buy in Quebec and everywhere else is just out of luck to watch it (or with Lemieux recently they can only be watched on his sketchy promoter's streaming website).

I counted 11 good fighters, with decent winning records on Beterbiev's record, and 13 good fighters, with decent records on Benavidez's record.
I haven't seen anyone make Beterbiev look like a heavy bag, and I doubt that Beavidez would be able to turn that trick on him.
I did say that Benavidez does have a chance to beat Beterbiev, but he would have to box a perfect fight, and not get caught.
If benavidez came in there throwing those punches in bunches like he like to do (which I enjoy watching), he could get caught in between punches.
If that were to happen he'd become his next knockout victim, sometimes things look easier than what they truly are, this wouldn't be an easy fight for either of them.
I would definitely love to see these two fighters go at it in a ring, the sooner the better as far as I'm concerned.

Beterbiev is slow, David has much faster hands, more reach and height, so there is no way a slow cave man is going to out punch him. Beterbiev is not a 1 punch ko artist he breaks down opponents like Benavidez but David is super tough himself, and has great cardio. David would just light him up to be honest. Beterbiev has never fought someone with david speed and abilities, and its funny how everyone acts like hes so proven when he only has 17 pro fights.

If you mean that Bowe versus Lennox was an all time great fantasy fight, I agree 100%.
I wanted to see the fight so badly, and Bowe wasn't man enough to take the fight.
He had lost to Lennox in the Olympics, and new what he was in store for if he had taken the fight.
That said look what happened to Bowe he joined the Marines, got kicked out, his wife divorced him, he was
arrested for kidnapping his children, and he's barely intelligible.
While Lennox was a better champion, has been an boxing announcer, can still articulate, and appears to have held onto his money.
