If Donaire lasts 12 again, or even wins, the hype train is going to take a hit.
Ever since Inoue beat Donaire, there's no way he can be considered hype

I wanted to see one of them against Casimero but I guess this will do. Donaire is a beast in this division. They both ran through their opponents to face each other in a baddass FOTY but the haters hella try to downplay that.

It depends on what level of hype he was getting. It was a ton. P4P status, over other established fighters with better resumes. He is very good, and has beaten countless Ring top 10 ranked fighters. But Donaire is nowhere near prime, or even peak. He was schooled by Rigondeaux. Lost to Frampton, Magdaleno, and knocked out by Walters.

When Inoue fought him, Donaire was far gone. A shadow of his former self. He’s now 40.

Hype should not be confused with “bad” or that his ranking is not warranted. He is the best of his division. The question is, where does he rank P4P. Is he really better than Spence, Lomachenko, Estrada, Taylor?

Why is Fury not in the P4P rankings? HW’s HAVE been ranked in the top 10 P4P rankings. Media decides when to do that and when it’s not allowed. Both Fury and Usyk should be there. Usyk is there rightfully so, but so should Fury.

Inoue better be watching out for Donaire's facebreaker. I'll be waking up early for this (again)

Well Bud is on the p4p list and who he beat is worse than Inoue lol. A good portion of the p4p list is "eye test". I'm not sure if i'd put him as a goat bantamweight but im sure he'd give hell to tons.

As for how washed Donaire was...he did lose to Rigo, but how many beat prime Rigo? This might sound like a nitpick, but also Donaire fought Rigo and Magdaleno at 122. Even worse when he moved up higher to fight Frampton and Walters at 126 which was way out of his element. Inoue beat him in Donaire's best weight of 118 lbs.

I rank Inoue above Spence, Estrada, and Taylor imo.

Respect to both fighters . Inoue needs to take defensively sound cause donaire will be definitely pressing . 50/50 fight , this and Valdez Stevenson are the ones I'm looking forward to.
