It's a very good observation and a fair enough point. Floyd does have very accurate precise punches, that often land clean and flush... and Marquez definitely has a tendency to cut often. I can see this being a factor half way through the fight.

Floyds not known too much for headbutting.. but that elbow finds its way into play often enough.

Nacho did a real good job on Arce's eyelid cut tonight, it might be a factor, but not enough to stop the fight. If Marquez gets into trouble he will fight out of it.

Ummm, I don't know if you've noticed, but Marquez fights the exact same way, maybe even better with a cut. And Mayweather has never faced such a defensively capable, adaptable, or as good a counter puncher as JMM.

The only way he's able to continuously land on an open cut is if he was already landing on that spot constantly. In which case it'd be a moot point because he'd win anyway.
