Why should all these Brits get to jump the queue over Mauricio Lara?

Warrington already got a title shot somehow before Lara did. It's disgusting to even consider another guy also bypassing Mauricio.

          But maybe that's just me.

Wasn’t it a voluntary defence made by Kiko?

It'd sell a lot more tickets in the UK than either of them vs Lara anywhere. That's the reason. Might not be fair, but it's boxing, money comes first. I can see it happening, both I'm sure would rather not risk defeat before they get that payday.

Woods come out of nowhere with 2 good wins, I'd still take Warrington though, he's been a top fighter for years and the cool off of his career was less him becoming past it, and more about a set of unfortunate circumstances taking him from a red hot fighter to a cold one in the space of 2 fights, he still looked good in the ring on Saturday to me.

Doesn't matter who sells more tickets in the UK, this is a worldwide sport and the rankings should be respected.

Can't tie up the belt with British domestic fights just because you feel like it.

It was voluntary defence in which you can choose anyone ranked in the top 15.

                    Warrington was ranked #5

Do you not understand this? Warrington wasn’t a mandatory.
