Tim needs to use his jab more as he comes in, should also use his body punching from round one instead of waiting several rounds, we all know body punching is money in the bank.
He also needs to tighten his defence, he was easy to hit by the right hand tonight, if that happens against a hard hitter he might not be getting up.
These things are easy to correct, it will depend on his team and his ability to learn (how often have we seen seasoned pro's forget about body work and the jab).

I thought he deserved to get the ko
Still good first fight in the US for him , good showing and can only improve from here on
As i stated before what if he hits the elbow with his fist? Tszyus opponent was just a tough type of guy to land clean blows on.

      He'll grow.............Rockin'

Tim is the favorite against any fighter in this division especially with it being such a weak division.

this fight just shows that tszyu is at least 2 levels below the elite at 154. charlo would hurt him bad.

Good power, Bad defense! He has to take his shot, because he put himself in the position, but I think 1-2 more fights (Danny Garcia, Kell Brook) would serve him well! Xander Zayas looks to be more of a problem @ 154 than Tszyu!

The way I see Tim, a tall strong powerful puncher who could win a world title.

I also see a guy with a couple of flaws who can be outboxed and also hurt and knocked down more easily than I thought. An exciting pugilist, though I'd give Charlo and perhaps also Castano the edge over him.

I see quite a few flaws as well and one big one is he steps in with his right foot first when throwing his right hand. Also not sure what kind of chin he has, yes he got up but it was early on the fight, if that happens latter in a fight against castano or charlo might be a different story. Either way I think he loses to either guy.

Some of you blokes who make him out to be the second coming of the Christian messiah need to chill a bit. I didn’t see what you Australian cats are seeing. Big and strong and very aggressive but horrendous defence and lack of foot and head movement. He needs an American trainer to be able to deal with the styles he is going to be seeing from American and Latin American fighters over here. I want to see him so well and the kid seems like a top lad but he has some very obvious flaws
