This was tough to watch. I really liked Berchelt's style. I thought he would add more head movement to go with his offense. Looks like his defense got even worse because of his lack of offense. I don't know if he should retire but it doesn't look like his career is trending up.

Maybe changing trainers after a loss isn't the best decision. I didn't know too much about Nakathila but i seen he had a high ko percentage. I wouldn't have fought such a tough fight after a devastating ko. Hell he was knocked out so severely he didn't even realize he lost the fight vs Valdez. Should've took a tune up to get use to the new division. Get back in the flow of things. Now he may be finished.

Berchelt never learned to box backing up. Getting ko’d made him less aggressive, then the decision to fight off the back foot made him food. Sad to see, sometimes it ain’t the trainers fault ‍♂️

Alacran can not fight as the non aggressor. No counter ability and terrible defense. To a fighter like that confidence is so crucial. I remember after James Kirkland first lost it was like a new person relaxed him. He, too fired. His trainer and both didn’t know how to rebuild that confidence with their limited skills

Should have picked an easier fight to get back on track after his ko loss to help get build that confidence

Totally agree with everything you said
He may be finished , not in my eyes
                  He is finished
Looked very vulnerable and had no legs whatsoever
If he keeps fighting , he’s an accident away
He gave us great fights and it seems like time is a calling

That's what happens when you get battered by a cheater. This is why if you pop dirty you should be banned from the sport period.
