    Who wasted 2009 the most?

I did a 2008 version, so I might as well do this. Granted I did the 08 one in November, but pretty much all the fights are set for the rest of the year.

    The candidates:

Israel Vazquez might actually win something this year besides Fight of the Year and that's the "Not fight of the year" for he has fought since March 2008. Granted they were warranted since he's had two eye surgeries, but he finally looks to make his return against Angel Antonio Priolo

David Haye will probably end up winning this poll. He was going to fight Wlad. Then he was going to fight Vitali. Now he's fighting Valuev. Valuev isn't terrible, but he might have wasted 09 because he was so close to fighting one of them, but he pulled out both times.

Joel Casamayor hasn't fought since September 13, 2008. He was set to return against Julio Diaz in april, but he pulled out due to injury. Hasn't fought since.

Zabby hasn't fought since November of 08 and he just recently pulled out of a fight with Antonio Diaz for god knows why. Certainly hasn't helped his career.

Speaking of not helping his career, I'll put Carlos Quintana on here. While he's scheduled to face Verno Phillips, which is a solid fight, I'll be surprised if it actually happens. He's a person for this list for sure.

After winning against Codrington, the man has pretty much done nothing. He's had a tune up fight, but he can't get things going this way. Allan Green pulled out of a fight with him and Balszay lost to Stieglitz, which tossed a BAD date down the drain.

While he may have fought a fighter better then of these people will face on this list, Antonio Margarito certainly belongs on this list. He got destroyed by Mosley and threw his career away by being caught trying to use Plaster of Paris.

It's only fair to have Marquez on this list with Vazquez. He's fought against tune up type competition, which is fine, but he might have wasted the year.

Maybe strange adding Kirkland to the list because he fought Joel Julio, but he might be the winner of this poll just because he was ****** enough to get caught with a gun.

    Other:

Last choice. You pick. People to think about include, Ivan Calderon, Sergei D, Jean Marc Mormeck, Guillermo Jones, and some others that I can't think of right now.

Shane Mosley. After the Margarito win, he didn't capitalize.
      Bhop too after Pavlik.

Shane Mosley might belong on this list, but if he ends up fighting Clottey, then he has a good follow up win. Besides Mosley still put his name back out there and had an incredible win. That wasn't really wasted imo.
