So you're saying that Bob Arum is lying?

Naw, it's better for a fighter keep active so it's fine if not every single fight is with a top level guy. As long as most of them are.

Benavidez, on the other hand, needs to take a break from Lemieux-level guys and step UP in competition.

Everyone is scared of him including Canelo so not much he can do. I guess he needs to lose a bunch of fights to earn canelo like ryder. lol

At Canelo speed , the light heavyweight division should be unified in 3 years at least

Beterbiev is fighting Joe Smith Jr.

Canelo is fighting the guy that beat Joe Smith Jr.

That's just the facts. Am I wrong?

Yet you're on here criticizing Canelo.

              Why is Canelo not unifying
Why we getting a useless third encounter with GGG
Then apparently a fight with Ryder
Then they are suggesting he fight Richards
              Where is the unification happening
No mention of Beterbiev as usual

I never noticed before , maybe just the last 2/3 weeks that you have become a nuthugger
Always there to protect Canelo , justifying even the unjustifiable

Ye its literally becoming a cult now, quite disturbing actually. Do you notice literally none of the Canelo nut huggers are pushing for the Benavidez fight? They just spew the same excuses, it seems they fear what the Mexican Monster will do to their little Ginger.

No, I’m saying that Canelo used Arum and PBC to run of the dazn offer and the entire time he had no intention of taking those other offers. Arum himself said that he believes Canelo will fight beterbiev this may when the Makabu fight falls through, did that happen? That fight fell through and you never heard a peep about Canelo bs Beterbiev. He knew all along which deal he planned to take and which he didn’t.

You're aware that DAZN offered Canelo a $160 million deal for 3 fights? That's why he will be fighting 3 DAZN fighters this year, and not Beterbiev or any other Top Rank or PBC fighters.

So the way I see it he is making the smart financial move obviously, and on top of that he is STILL going to fight a tougher opponent than your boy Beterbiev is. What is there for any objective, fair-minded person to criticize here?

But that's me thinking logically. I hadn't noticed before, maybe just last 2/3 weeks that you have become one of the emotional, irrational group who is dead set on hating Canelo.

Again, DAZN came up with a huge 3-fight deal for Canelo. So for the next 3 fights DAZN fighters will get the call. That's how the business works.

Last I checked Benavidez isn't a DAZN fighter.

But while Canelo plays out the DAZN deal there's nothing stopping Benavidez from making big fights of his own, let's see if he gives the fans anything to look forward to.
