Perhaps. Canelo dropped 4 rounds in a subpar performance and was clearly frustrated before Plant gassed like he always does.

There is a reason all these fighters and trainers are high on Benavidez. Only the ginger stans on social media seem to deny this.

Why should Plant fight Canelo and Bumavidez in a row? He already lost a fight. Give him more time. Dirrell fight isn't that bad. It's Bumavidez's best win.

Canelo also gave up 3-4 rounds to a post-prime BJS and only got the stoppage due to injury.

The problem is that the cinammon defence force dismiss Benavidez as easy work as if Canelo has been stomping dudes out. Benavidez has the size and work rate to give a good account of himself.

Fans should be demanding the best fights from an entertainment POV! We are sick of the fellas who fight scared. Bring on Beterbiev, Benavidez, etc.

The problem is that 168 is a really weak division. Hence why Canelo gets criticism for moving up before cleaning up 160.

Look at The Ring's rankings, I will go in order. Benavidez is #1. Plant just got knocked out. BJS is practically retired. He has already beat Dirrell. Ryder just fought and may hold out for a Canelo payday. Lemieux is #6.

Who else should he fight realistically? Andrade and Charlo will not happen.
