Best 168 lbs Boxers Going Forward

Last night we had Berlanga really show how limited he is. Canelo is the champ but he’s fighting other guys not in the division right now (although I’m sure GGG will have to move up to 168).

So we have Benavidez, Plant, Dirrell, Charlo and Andrade moving up, Ryder etc. but I think the one guy that will end up being P4P #1 is David Morrell Jr. he’s an absolute monster. I am very high on Benavidez. He may look sloppy, but he’s a terminator that is an offensive juggernaut. I would think Benavidez would give Canelo hell. I think Morrell, Benavidez and Canelo are head and shoulders above all others named. I would pick Morrell over Canelo in a year and make him a slight favourite over Benavidez as well.

what do you guys think? This isn’t for fan boys. This is a serious boxing discussion based solely on skills and in-ring performance.

You just tried to do a lame attempt at humour at the expensive of an all time top 10 ATG and contributed nothing to the conversation. Who does your corny ass like at 168? 600 posts in a month. Touch some grass weirdo.

I'm with you on this one. Morell jr. has the background of the Cuban school, but he defected very young, and that will give him the chance for an smooth transition, to the professional ranks. The newly defectors from Cuba are all young. One poster reply to me that he was nothing, to check back in 4 or 5 years. I wrote back and told him, to find out another youngster with a similar resume. He didn't reply.

Not even top 20. Biggest bum hunter in history. Almost zero win against elite opponents. 62-0 against part time sparring partners. 1-3 against true elite opposition. This is when a bum hunting gone wrong lol.

Middle Weight to Light Heavyweight divisions are below par, the lowest level of competition for decades.

I have no idea who the best fighters are going forward. I find this situation bizarre, as histrionically the middle-weight divisions have always been the elite divisions 'Along with Heavyweight & Welter Weight divisions'.
