What is Floyd Sr.'s disease?

I was watching 24/7 with Hatton and this one and i'm really wondering about it. We all know that Roach has Parkinson but i don't know what Big floyd has.
What is Floyd Sr. 's disease? How bad is IT? Could he die from it?
