    Does Holyfield Have Brain Damage?

Ok, I was arguing with my friend because I told him that I read that 3 NFL players are gonna donate their brains and spines when they die, and he said it should be boxers. He said that Holyfield has a damaged brain because he's still boxing, that if he wasn't brain damaged he would retire already and thinks he can become world champion again, so that's why he's brain damaged for thinking he can become brain damaged again.

How the hell is that being brain damaged? To me, that's just believing in yourself and still loving the sport. If he was brain damaged, he would do something ****** or talk weird or something else, but the dude acts perfect and made a commercial just now.

What is your opinion? Do you think that's being brain damaged because he thinks he can become a world champion again? This is the dumbest **** I've heard.

umm... ok. Well if you're a boxer, your life is boxing, all you do for a long time is train for a fight and then fight, and then the highest point you can have is carrying a belt. now the belt of all belts is the HW belt. it's really hard for boxers to say: ok no more, because it's your life, your passion, you dedicated everything to it. to stop, kind of feels like treason, losing permanently, you know? but the sensible thing would be for him to stop even though he's doing aight.

Lmaoo, this dude is a serious ******. He actually wasn't my friend but I knew him from another forum so we talked about boxing and stuff... Now he just keeps calling me a dumbass and stuff but he got nothing better to do. He always used to tell me how another dude used to block him because "they didn't know how to argue" with him. Some dumbass, he just puts words on my mouth.. By the way, he's also here and his username is Majascule. Now he blocks me on MSN, like I need to talk to him.. I talked to him because I felt bad because he doesn't have many friends and other bull****. By the way dude, if you reading this - I thought you were a better friend. Not to call me a dumbass and say **** like that. I hope you will learn something from this, maybe how to treat friends.

He's fighting because he needs the money.

From what it seems your friend was probably joking. Or maybe he wasn't, having read your second post.

I also don't see how it's such a delusional idea, although originally I did think it was, because Holyfield is just coming off a robbery loss for a version of the heavyweight title.

Before the Valuev fight, I thought it was just Holyfield trying to convince people in order to get a few more big paydays. Now having seen how terrible Valuev truly is, I'd say that Holyfield has more than a 50% chance of regaining the title on neutral grounds against the Russian Giant.
