And what a shock - B-level Rolly Romero up next! No coincidence there Bro. Its the Pbc formula. HWS draw on their own. And it’s obvious why May/Mosley is at the bottom of that list - something missing opposite Floyd.
He also needed Hispanics who fought to his style. Floyd is more of a counterpuncher. He prefers offensive fighters who are going to come forward.

I didn’t miss the point. It’s funny how you all are with the word play. You all say Mexicans run boxing but at the same time you will say such and such needs Hispanics to sell. Rolly is from Cuba Guerrero and Ortiz are American. Using the term “Hispanic Fanbase” is such a broad term and I’d argue all top fighters have a “Hispanic Fanbase”. Floyd has the top 2 PPVs neither involved an Hispanic And it’s obvious why Canelo- Mosley nor Canelo-Cotto (Two Hispanics) didn’t even make the list at all. The latter couldn’t even crack 1M PPV buys.

Never said “Mexicans run boxing” And OBVIOUSLY Floyd has the top 2 ppv bc Pac and Conner were in the opposite corners. Every boxing fan in the world(die-hard and casual) was dying to see that fight w/Pac and of course Conner was the most famous Mma fighter at that time and obviously had a huge fanbase. Guerrero and Ortiz are American but identify with and draw the Hispanic fanbase...lets not over state the obvious. And Fyi - Rolly is AMERICAN.

Vargas didn't look bad against Cruz. Rayo is unproven and isn't one to move much so for as long as it lasts, it will be a good one.

People can say a lot things about Floyd some warranted but I never understood people who try to downplay his ability to sell ppv.

He held his own against Cruz I agree, mainly because Cruz is a pretty crude brawler with a good chin. El Rayo has shown to be far more skilled than Cruz and will blast out Vargas a la Berchelt. Valenzuela and Frank Martin are tremendous talents and it's going to show that night.

How the hell does Vargas & Gamboa get on the ppv card…PBC always matching young boxers with old fighters coming of loses. I think that is how Davis won a championship fighting Cuellar .

Certainly possible, but who has Rayo beaten? Last fight or the fight prior he got touched up some. Not saying Vargas will win because I don't expect that to happen. I just think it will be entertaining for as long as it lasts.

Three Hispanics on this entire list and both needed America to be successful.

The list is nothing but Tyson and Gayweather though. Stop acting like there are 20 blacks on that list.

And it's the other way around, Gayweather needed De la Hoya, Canelo, Pac, and McGregor to be successful. He needed De la Hoya to breakout. How was he doing before DLH? How many PPV buys did he get vs Baldomir?

How are the PBC PPVs doing? How did the Stank PPV go? How about Thurman?

Want to place a bet on which will do better, the Spence PPV or Canelo PPV?
