I would have to lean towards Canelo simply because he's fought better opposition so he's shown us he's superior to them. Whereas Crawford is highly skilled but I don't believe we've seen how skilled he really is because of the lack of top welter's on his resume.

Porter is better than everyone on Canelo's resume

I would give the nod to Crawford.

It is difficult to explain my reasoning. I think that Canelo has more tools at his disposal in terms of punch range, timing and what not.

With Crawford, I feel that he is more effective with the tools that he has. I have not been mesmerised with the things that he does in the ring but he is able to adapt and becomes dangerously effective once he has figured his opponent out.

Canelo has proven this thru and thru, we gonna wait to see if Crawford can stand and deliver, still time left on his odometer.

Would Crawford had been.able to.male adjustments against GGG? I think not

I think Canelo, beef steaks aside, he has skillz. His defense is pretty solid and there are a lot of fighters that just have difficulty hitting him flush or enough times to do any type of damage to him. He's also very good at picking his spots and finding those body shot openings. So again, whether he was on radioactive steaks or not, I can still appreciate the skills he puts on display.

Crawford has never really wowed me with skills but wow'd me at how he can keep his foot on the gas and simply overwhelm or out muscle his opponents even after they give their best to do the same to him. His will to win is just greater.
It feels weird agreeing with you, but yeah, this is how I see it as well.
