Comments Thread For: Cobbs Offers To Replace Ortiz, Fight McKinson: Get This Work, I'm Gonna F--- You Up!

Blair 'The Flair' Cobbs is ready to save the show. The unbeaten and outspoken welterweight has offered his services to fill the void left in Saturday's DAZN main event, in the wake of Vergil Ortiz Jr. having to withdraw from his scheduled bout with England's Michael McKinson. Ortiz (18-0, 18KOs) was hospitalized and diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis, a serious medical condition that can be fatal or result in permanent disability according to a study by the CDC.

Why can't this happen? Huge opportunity to rise to the occasion for Blair the Flair and McKinson.

There is no way that Jimmy Hendrix fighting Mckinson would be near as exciting as him fighting Rocha, no way! The best fight of the original card was Cobbs vs Rocha anyways!

Couldn't agree more. I'm excited for the Cobbs/Rocha matchup. McKinson is a decent fighter but I don't find him particularly entertaining. I'd rather them just dust off Adrian Granados or someone to face McKinson and elevate Cobbs and Roxha as the main event.

Yeah, the one thing that never excites me is a huge puncher going against a feather-fisted fighter. We know without seeing the fight is the feather-fisted guy may win a couple rounds till he gets smashed. All KO's vs almost no KO's, doesn't get me excited.

Yeah I don't know much about McKinson but I doubt he's any better than Rocha. It's almost as if Cobbs saw the 9% KO ratio and thought "I'll have some of that."

No matter who Blair "The Flair" Cobbs faces, you know it'll be badass. Because he is the baddest man and the main attraction.

Well he certainly made that sound like a tempting offer.

Alex Rocha, you might have of been spared a awful beating. But the same cant be said for Estevan Villalobos. Michael McKinson, if you take on the Blair 'The Flair' Cobbs, you deserve more respect than your countrymen Conor Benn, Kell Brook, WHERE ARE YOU?!

If McKinson was injured, would Blair step up and fight Ortiz? I wonder.

He's a good self promoter. Ok Cobbs, take on Ennis next, and back up the big talk.
