Good retort. I haven't seen point deductions for that either, but I suspect points have been deducted in some fights. There are a lot of rules fighters are supposed to follow, most of which fans know, but others that are less well-known and can be subjective (abusive language, unsportsmanlike conduct, disrespecting a referee, excessive showboating, simply not following a referee's instructions, etc). Except for the major fouls (headbutt, low blows, hitting on a break, hitting after the bell, etc) I think ref's give a lot of leeway on the others. And, when warned, most fighters follow whatever instructions, which is why we haven't seen point deductions/DQ's for the other stuff.
