Why the frukk are steroids illegal??

They are potentially lethal and obviously shouldn't be taken recreationally, but it just seems like the sole reason they were made illegal in the first place was because of the unfair advantage issue, which could have been made a non issue.....at the end of the day I think grown adults have to assume risk when making their own choices as to what to put in their bodies, not some nanny state.Comment

That's gotta be it....I guess maybe they figure people can't make the right choice so they are making them for you....Comment

I understand that your not saying steroids are the greatest thing ever and everyone should used them. Your just saying who are so old guys in DC to tell anyone what to do with their bodies thats all.Comment

I think it can break down tissue in your body, and it ill fill your joints will unnecessary fluid. Mentally, it can cause the user to become extremely irritable and angry, hence "Steroid Rage".Comment

How dumb you need to be, to think why steroids are illegals.
Steroids give advantage to any other fighter that dosent use it.
Then what is the reason of seen boxing where the bigger looser take steroids and win to a world champion.
Then lets get plaster legals too for all that have disavantage in power.
This is a sport, and in sport the greatest are the one that are gifted and train for it, if you are not born gift in boxing or dont train 100%, go and practice another sport or retire.
Besides that, we need to maintain any sport as classic possible, if not, there will no way to compare any boxer of this era, with Ali, Duran, Marciano, etc.Comment

honestly, those are fair points yall.
Ill just go ahead and say Steroid Abuse+A Normal Boxing Career=youre ruined by 40. and not as a boxer, but as an active individual. at least. its just too much for your body to handle, its like youre forcing it to speed itself up, which means old age comes quicker than usual.
I just think itll be a sad day when an all natural guy that doesnt want to kill his body is at a major disadvantage in sports, since hes competing with almost all roided up guys.
and because I have a personal dislike for steroids, Im randomly going to post a list of negative side effects of steroids.
