It's easy to say I told you so after the fact, but it was clear as could be that Canelo was out of his league even before the fight was made, if you understood who Bivol was.

I'm happy for Bivol because now he will have the recognition he deserves. Bivol vs Beterbiev (yes, he will beat Smith) will be a great fight, and now will do MUCH better numbers than it would have otherwise, this was a masterclass against the P4P champion.

The fight was no way near 115-113...but it was a Canelo fight. Honestly, even after watching it before the decision was in, I thought man...they'd call it a draw...because it's Canelo. That they gave a UD over the cash cow on Cinco de Mayo weekend when they wouldn't even play the Russian national anthem speaks volumes.

    Look at these punch stats...

Canelo's luster will never shine the same way now.
excellent post buddy, keep them coming!

Notice how Dimitry changes the speed of his punches, and it throws Alvarez off rhythm. Bivol throws a jab at a odd angle ( maybe on purpose ) and it enables him to use the forearm and he pushes Saul off balance and then Dimtry surprises him with a jab!

Well...I'll do it for you jaded. I cant believe this red-head midget's arm-punches! Katie Taylor was in Culero's looker-room before the fight, she jinxed him.
Nice work...thx. I'm going to have to sig one of those! Man...Bivol made it look easy. Even Mayweather never hit Canelo with those kinds of multiple combo's. Canelo got taken down quite a few notches last night.

The final round and Culero was still hacking at the arm, dumbass.

Dimitry's off-balance stance whilst punching and bad habit to jump in and out of range should get him planted by the eight round for sure.

All that aggression is going to be nullified with head-movement and Canelo's short height and faster hands in the inside. Dimtry is already down 4 points before the bell rings by the way, KO or nothing is how Bivol wins. Put your money on Alvarez.
Wrong again, every pick you make is a loser.

Contrary to what you said last time, in this instance I went with the heavy favorite. I took your advise and now you came in to mock me, thanks.

It's not about dogs and favorites, it's about boxing knowledge.

To be honest, I stopped watching Saul Alvarez after he failed VADA testing, and I knew very little about Dimitry Bivol. I had no idea Canelo ****** ass at 175, and I still dont know if Dimitry can beat that other Russian -- which by now you can guess I dont follow either.
