I really hate Mick Conlan's style

Like I seriously hated watching him fight every time I saw him. He might beat Wood but I never once understood the hype at all.

Is there any hype about him?

i think most don’t rate him apart from a few Northern Ireland faithfuls

Considering most see his fight with Leigh Wood a 50-50, I don’t think there’s much hype about him

Yes there is not much hype about him. Just seems like a solid boxer.

I just remember, maybe at the beginning of is career? Conor Mcgregor supporting him.

And Conlan having a bit of a overt attitude. Just a bit of attitude, which some people may like or dislike.

I was indifferent towards him, have not paid attention to most of his fights. I have only really paid attention to this match up, because it seems like it is his biggest fight.

Sometimes fighters, from certain countries will get more hype. Ireland is one of those places.

Ireland, England, America, Mexico, Eastern European Countries.

If you are a fighter from any of these places, you will get some hype. If you was fighting out of France, not so much hype.

His style is very similar to his brother, a bit more polished but I believe it will take the same root as his brother.

Conlan was supposed to be this slick fast moving fighter
In my eyes he’s an ok fighter but hasn’t stepped it up in opponent quality and also , may I add he hasn’t look good in a couple of latest fight
I also re call him getting a gift in one fight where some kind of return fight ) he looked terrible ( think was on espn for the Bobfather and it was some kind return fight from ´,).
Wood looks a little more rugged and more durable imo
              Less show more fight

Conlan is terrible to watch. Hype began way too early, and has now basically become irrelevant unless they really accelerate his progression starting now.

On a tangent but on the vague subject of Irish boxers, Katie Taylor is also always terrible to watch.

hes nothing special, probably a fringe world level type fighter really, guided slowly and carefully (like they have done so far) he'll be undefeated for a while before he cashes out against a top level fighter

I’m pretty confident Wood beats him. That probably means Conlan wins though knowing my picks.

Conlan is very amateurish in the style he boxes. He’s a talented fighter but he hasn’t really adapted his style to the pro game IMO.
