I am not going to beat up on Holmes to bad but being from Michigan and knowing he’s been off so long, but if he doesn’t develop a jab and use his height, he’s wasting his time in that division. I would have him watch Tommy Hearns over and over, Mark Breland even Milton McCrory these guys had the same frame but never took all that unnecessary punishment, especially against a short fighter. I like the right hook to the body, but if you were not so close you would be able to pull back springing with back leg and come back with a one two up top. He’s got lots of work to do, if he really wants it! I like some of his skillful moves he utilizes but he's just giving up too much which will shorten his career for sure.
