Not really. If a fighter says I want that fight make it happen and that fighter is 100% not taking no for the answer it’ll happen. All bouts being held up across all weight classes are the boxers themselves. They aren’t a promoter or Manager. The only way for either to make money is for their fighter to fight. If that fighter puts his foot down each will go in that direction. The Manager guides the boxer’s career and the promoter is the financial vehicle behind the fight.
