Gayweather isn't on the level of Duran, Leonard.

Crawford is on the level of Berto, Broner

He would have stopped Manny and Arum knew it, will do a demo job on Spence that's why PBC won't make the fight. Even Jermell went into rag mode when people said Crawford might come up and fight him for undisputed.

A lot of people on here never played sports.

One thing you know in sports is, skill recognizes skill.

Crawford is the real deal and competes with them.

BTW, the last FMW fought someone with equal reach was Judah. Instead of #1 contender Lara with 74'' reach for 154s belts he defended against Maidana

Look it up. Shields went to Haymon about the fight and Haymon told Shields that ain't going to happen. Shields says it in an interview.

Crawford and Andrade hate is real.

Well Floyd ducked thurman, spence and bud. Probably using excuse they not beat anyone of note? Or nobody wanted to see fights as bud was a light WW? So Floyd fights berto, Connor and tenshin

This is the same troll who said Angelo is better than Floyd because Floyd has fought in more catchweights. Mind you Floyd has only fought in 2 catchweights his entire career compared to Canelo who has been in 9. You come here to troll lol

I think Crawford is the SRL of our era at 147. He is a fantastic boxer but has that killer mean streak like Leonard had. He obviously doesn't have the opposition Ray had though to prove how good he is.

Odd post. How is Oscar and Whitaker on a lower level than Floyd or Leonard?

Crawford is in a peculiar position. On paper he has accomplished enough to be a HOF'er, even without an elite level opponent on his resume. Therein lies the rub--while he does pass the eyeball test for greatness, he hasn't been pushed to his limits or tested by another elite level fighter. Part of that is because they are avoiding him, and hiding behind the Haymon Protection Plan. The other part of that is because he signed with Arum in hopes of getting the Manny payday, knowing it may get in the way of making fights with all of the PBC welters. He gambled on that Manny payday. Even still, he has earned just as much as Spence in the ring and has earned more than all of PBC fighters below HW outside of Spence.

If Crawford is to be mentioned in the same sentence as the ATGs, he'll need to defeat a few of the top WW and maybe Jr. Middles to get there. Spence, Ugas, Thurman, and possibly Ortiz or Ennis if they step up soon--clean out the division. Win a title at 154 if he can get Charlo to fight him, which is highly unlikely. The clock is ticking on his prime though, and he'll need to make something happen if he truly cares about his legacy.
