Comments Thread For: Hearn: When They Trade Left Hooks, Whyte Will Put Fury To Sleep!

Eddie Hearn, promoter for heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte, believes the boxer is going to score a knockout victory when he faces WBC world champion Tyson Fury. Whyte will receive his mandatory crack at the belt on April 23, when he challenges Fury at Wembley Stadium in London.

    1. Whyte is not going to land on Fury
    2. Whyte is the one that has been proven to be chinny
    3. Fury would have to show up 40 pounds overweight and drunk to have any shot at losing

So Fury doesn't have the power to take Whyte out, but grandfather Povetkin put him to sleep?

Any version of Fury dispenses with Whyte.

        Fury wont trade anything.
Expect him to run around the ring, doing that herky-jerky šhit he did to Klit.
btw, is Sugar Hill with Fury in the UK? And why not?

Whyte will be shown for what he is a decent fringe contender that like his equal Derek Chisora couldn't quite cut it at world level. His losses over old Povetkin and Joshua and out on his feet with Parker prove this. He will be stopped around r9. Having been outclassed and pummelled.

Eddie Hearn has never been this vocally intense before a match up. I think he wants to see Fury beaten, by anyone these days.

This attitude appeared after all of the negotiations earlier this year.

              Pretty much, yeah.

For all Fury's brilliance, he lacks single punch power and even recent displays, against a very limited boxer, relied upon sapping his opponent's stamina before he could take full effect. Added to that, his punch technique is weird, man

Put it this way, Povetkin could get fat, come out of retirement, and still KO Whyte with one punch. Fury will be taken to cards, some of which will be very close, albeit, in his favour/

                1. Whyte will probably not land on the Fury with a polished Peter Fury-style game; but will almost certainly land on the Fury that showed up in the last 2 Wilder fights.
                2. Will see if Fury has the power to make Whyte look 'chinny', and see if Fury doesn't himself look so at some point during proceedings
                3. That we're agreed on. He's not losing. But it will be a tighter decision than the consensus of this forum, so far, dictates

For the 1st time in years, Fury will have to worry about a punch other than a right.
