Sorry Virgil, Spence Jr is on the dilapidated side of the street and you’re not!

Ortiz jr is not ready for Spence jr right now. De la Hoya is a idiot but he's not ******. One things for sure is that when this fight does happens it'll definitely be at Cowboys stadium

Isn’t Chavez-Whitaker the biggest fight in Texas history? Not just due to the robbery, but just the two names involved alone makes it big.

And then recently you have Canelo vs Saunders in AT&T Stadium, which had 73k in attendance.

Anyone else notice fighters who are self-proclaimed big sellers and big draws before even making it big, actually never make it big?

Mayweather for example, did not start tooting his own horn until after the DLH fight that sold 2.4 million PPV’s.

Speaking of DLH, he never tooted his own horn about his drawing power.

              Pacquiao never did that either.

The big sellers currently, Canelo in North America, Joshua in the UK, they don’t show off their drawing power.

But you see guys like Teofimo Lopez’s dad, or Vergil Ortiz, Adrien Broner, etc, they have this delusion that they are these big PPV sellers without even having the evidence of it.

Just goes to show that saying about “the quiet one’s” is true.

I like Ortiz more than Spence. But I think Ortiz loses that fight right now.

His vicious run from the old veteran Herrera to the solid contender Kavaliaskas has been very impressive. He is steamrolling everyone. Very fun to watch. But he would be much better off fighting the lower contenders like Thurman, Avanesyan, maybe even Ugas if Spence gets past him. Ugas would still be a very tough, very solid test for the 23 year old.

Spence should push for Crawford fight, not fighting green fighters like Ortiz Jr. He needs to fight the guy everyone wants to see him up against.

Let’s allow Ortiz Jr to grow into his prime. He’s a beast so far vs weak to solid opposition but he still needs more work. Give him until like 25-26 years old, that’s going to be the start of his prime right there. Spence and Crawford are like 10 years his senior. They are on their way out. I think Ortiz Jr is going to be linked to Jaron Ennis, a 24 year old with an exciting style and who’s also a top 5 welterweight.

Ortiz beats everyone Spence has ever beat much more convincing than Spence…De la Hoya understands this also, so why wouldn’t he pursue Spence??

He’s absolutely ready for Spence. But it’s a pointless discussion as it’s unlikely to happen.
