Would we ever really find out about any clauses like that in this fight?

Like I said Canelo will likely not stop him or maybe even hurt him. I just can see Bivol not really being able to execute his best abilities against Canelo.

Canelo will never hit harder than the top light heavyweights like Joe Smith or Beterbiev. He’s just too small. So you have to look at the other variables that he uses to maximize his power. Accuracy, mental pressure, exhausting his opponents by making them miss, shots from non orthodox angles.

At the most elite level it’s not about power…it’s the execution of it.

I would love to be in the negotiations.
Why in hell do people think all of a sudden Mr Canelo has more power and stamina than any other fighter in the world?

        Drugs?

I mean, every time a bigger guy fights a smaller one, the bigger guy has the advantage unless he is told he cannot go ahead and shoot.

I doubt it if even Beterbiev can bully Bivol.

He is a really good technical fighter. Doesn’t have the pop of Beterbiev or Smith Jr, but we saw how he bullied Smith Jr even though Smith is known for his grit and power.

Canelo is in for a very tough fight. It won’t be a walk in the park at all. This guy is very technically sound, very fundamentally sound. And he also has a fighter mentality. He won’t lay down for Canelo. I’m telling you. If Canelo wins this, it will be by decision and it will be a very hard earned decision.

I know Canelo isn’t taking this guy lightly, Canelo is smart. He knows what he is up against and he is probably working harder than ever in the gym. He knows he is in for a long 12 rounds.

I have Canelo winning a decision, but I would not be surprised at all if Bivol beats him. Bivol has it all, he has all the tools you need as a boxer to outbox any other boxer. This is despite lacking some power, his skills close that gap. Very accurate fighter too, and great timing. Canelo will have his hands full and win a tough decision, close fight.

Your absolutely right , Canelo will bully Bivol
When I heard he was fighting Kovi , way before the fight ,I was already claiming , that he would go in and bully him And knock him out by the five rounds max
Now imo , he carried that fight , staying content to just go in hit him enough to know before the end of the fight , he wouldn’t and couldn’t still be on his feet , Kovi has been washed for a while ( obviously Canelo was worried what he had left in the tank , showing to much respect )

That’s one of the factors he hasn’t fought Beterbiev , there’s no way Canelo bully’s him
