Why do I have zero interest of seeing this fight? It is several years too late and Golovkin has been so inactive lately and getting up there in age (from a boxing POV)! They are trying to build this up to gain the public’s interest, but in reality Golovkin is at a huge disadvantage here: Inactivity, slow down, age and moving up in weight when Canelo has been fighting at higher weights, all goes against Golovkin. I would love to see GGG finally get a definitive win against Canelo, but just can’t see it ….He definitely won that first fight, the 2nd fight was closer and that was more like a draw not the first one.

This man Canelo really waited 4 years to rematch GGG. He wanted to make sure he was nice and old. Canelo a great fighter, but the last three years he has been taking the safe path. Yall can say what yall want but if he was offered 75 million for one fight he wouldn't fight Benavidez. Now to GGG. Since 2018 he has fought nobody. He had Charlo and Andrade in his division with a title and of course he picks Murata. I love boxing but I hate this Era. GGG was so concerned about a Canelo fight, he fought nothing but after bum cause he was worried about losing.

I'm not sure why we're here with GGG again. I was all in for the first fight and thought it was a ****er. But he didn't get the win and kept up the "cmon, fight me mexican style" talk. So the second was the chance for him to cement it.
He didn't tho. And seemed to me, Canelo did fight him Mexican style, and GGG was unwilling.
Now he's older, has done nothing worth mentioning since then, and has less of a chance to do what he should have already done, if he could.
I've moved on. I'll watch it, if it's not PPV, but I'm not eager to see it or expecting the win from GGG.

The only time I ever remember them getting heated was the weigh in for the rematch.
I liked the old days when on fight night there wasent six different commentators throwing their hot takes between them. We don’t need an hour of video promos recalling everything. I understand why they do it. It’s not my attention they are trying to garner.
I’m not a fan of elaborate entrances with dancers, rappers, fire and lasers. Four different songs sung. I hate it when one fighter has to stand in the ring for any prolonged period of time. Let’s just get it on.Roj likes this.

Yes these are the match ups, I personally want to happen. Genuine rivalries.
Just like Wilder vs Fury, the Golovkin vs Alvarez rivalry needs to reach a conclusive ending. The fighters want this themselves.
There was always going to be a third fight.
