Maybe this is a good thing. Boxers know what's best for them. As soon as GGG found a better trainer, he got a career defining win over Derevyanchenko.

Remember when Cotto made his strength coach his head trainer?

If Fernandez is a disciple of the Cuban school that tells me Joshua is thinking of trying to outbox Usyk again.

        Real good plan.

I don't think Joshua needs a massive overhaul, or to reinvent himself.

He just needs to rediscover his old style. Which was more of a use of his mid-range capabilities i.e combination punching.

If he is to work on any area's, it would have to be his jab 'And inside fighting capabilities'.

Just simple things like, knowing how to tie a fighter up, wrestle and use rough house tactics. Joshua's game seems to be devoid of these dimensions.

As a big super-heavyweight having these dimensions, can make certain stylistic fights easier. A peak Wladimir Kiltschko would of boxed Usyk from a distance, then repeatedly tied him up and wrestled him about 'This as the rounds go by, would of eroded Usyk's stamina and eagerness to engage'.

Joshua made fighting Uysk, more complicated than it should of been. And he did this because, he lacks in certain area's.

Unlike past super-heavyweights, Anthony Joshua seems to not know how to fight a big man fight. He does not utilize all of his physical abilities. Even in the rematch vs Ruiz Junior 'That was not a clinical big man fight, it was more of a semi-violent game of tick'.

Fighters like Andy Ruiz Junior would of been beaten down extremely badly by Lennox Lewis.

I think Joshua staying with trainers he knows, is acceptable. On some level, I think he is aware that he does not need to reinvent himself.

At the end of the day, all of his fellow competitors are regressing. Tyson Fury is not hard to find in the ring these days, he gets hit and busted up real good by pretty much everyone he fights. It is only really Uysk who was showing signs of limited regression, and a unknown quantity to his ability.

Andy Ruiz Junior has regressed, and if Joshua was to fight him again? I think Joshua would beat him down from start to finish real bad.

I actually think Andy Ruiz Junior vs Anthony Joshua III should be made.
