Kell Brook vs Amir Khan: It was a professional vs. amateur match

All these guys slamming Khan, he had his fight and lost, let him leave in peace, he was a great champion, but he was past his prime now, and he was defeated by the more prepared man on the night. Enjoy retirement; he has nothing to prove now, but he still fights like an amateur at the end.

Usyk in my opinion has a amateur style 'I don't think it is a insult, or detriment'.

Khan has always fought with a point scoring style i.e It looks like he is playing a violent game of tick.

It is the same with Usyk, but of course? Usyk is a bit better than Amir Khan.

I agree, Amir Khan has had great career 'Totally maximized his potential'.

He went too hard too early and was mismanaged. He was a fantastic boxer. I don't believe his punch resistance recovered from his fight with the Maidana. He's taken too many savage blows.

He couldn’t take a punch before Maidana

he was getting dropped by british journeymen on the way up. There’s also videos of him in the amateurs doing the same funny dance and being stopped as he did in the pro’s.

He had a big casual fan base in the early part of his career but people that knew boxing weren’t overly surprised when he got knocked out by Prescott, people knew his chin was shaky.

Khan has maximized his potential. Nothing more he could of done. Skill for skill Brook probably was a all round better fighter, but Khan has achieved more.

His punch resistance was never super high, but he made up for this with his extreme gameness. Being game is a attribute that gets over looked.

Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Dillian Whyte, Derek Chisora. These are game heavyweights.

Joshua was showing signs of elite level gameness, but then it seemingly decreased after the Ruiz Junior loss.

Yeah Khan was evidently shot to pieces. He “David Haye’d” us that night.

Brook is pretty washed too in all honesty but he clearly has a lot more juice left than Khan.

Lower weight division fighters do not age well, and Khan's peak was in his early twenties. He could have been even better if he had a better chin and could stick to a gameplan more consistently.
