Rigondeaux Injury Update?

Heard that Rigondeaux had a pressure cooker blow up in his face and he may have lost all or most of his eyesight.

Anyone else hear this?

Kind of a fitting end to an unpredictable and ultimately disappointing career.

Rigo was a generational talent IMO, but his career was so mismanaged, he was criminally avoided during his prime but he didn’t help himself with his overly negative style.

Hopefully he regains full vision and the injuries sustained are not permanent.
