Mexicans have a huge history of coming in overweight to gain advantage. Massive history.

And yes, it's intentional. They're happy to let the title go if they can get the win and make up for it down the road with the bigger paydays and what not.

Shouldn't he be in the gym non stop like so many of you have called with fights like Smith against Canelo in giving him only 3 weeks to prepare?

      Where's that energy gone?

Oh wait, it's only an excuse when it comes to benefitting Mexicans. Anyone else, and all of a sudden it changes to "Short notice" Haha.

Martinez replaced Estrada the last week of January. Stop acting like he replaced him the week of. 5 weeks is hardly short notice, when you should be in the gym ready and going up in weight.

Awww look how empathetic all the team reynoso fan boys are. Ohh he had short notice. Stop, dude had 6 weeks to make the weight class above his normal weight class and he was notified just 6-7 weeks after his last fight. He’s either undisciplined and shouldn’t have taken then fight to begin with or trying to gain an unfair advantage to beat the legend, which is a typical move by the Reynoso camp.

That's a shame. Hope the fight still goes ahead. Looking forward to this one.

Team Martinez showing lack of confidence trying to gain any advantage they can. I still think Chocolatito is on another level. Martinez is in for a long night.

Short notice isn't an excuse if you signed a contract to make a certain weight

5 weeks is very short notice.

Still, he signed the contract and it will now cost him money.
