I know very little about Martinez, so i am not picking this fight. But it sounds like he is not to be trifled with.

When J.C. fought Sunny Edwards I believe it was him, he got a NC although he did KO him but hit him while he was down. Hey I like agression and there are times when it just happens hard to stop a punch in the process and the politics of boxing add to it or that fight. And that has to be worked thru, do not want to take away agression in the ring. So there is that, and there is his skills and lack of experinence at the higher levels of boxing. So those things may (?) play into the fight so as it being an older but great fighter he is up against I factor those things into the results which are not in yet. The build up to a fight can go in many directions some things matter some are just to hype a fight. My take is it will be a fight, and it will change both fighters win loose or draw but please no Not a NC for any reason. I hope the Ref is not a player in the outcome or the judges for that matter but that is another angle of the fight best left for another day I hope.

Martinez is tailor made for Gonzalez, kid is too green and has cement feet. He’s there to be hit, if Choco doesn’t grow old overnight he’ll stop him within the distance. I can understand the sentiment of young blood ushering in a new era especially after bam bam Rodriguez worked cuadras, but Choco is an ATG and Martinez has fewer tools than Rodriguez.
