Fine, he doesn’t have Canelo’s resume but at 175 he’s been champion for a while, beaten everyone he’s faced with relative ease. The vast majority of the boxing world, trainers, promoters, other fighters rate this as a very tough fight for Canelo - but you for some reason don’t believe he belongs in the same ring?? Boxing isn't only about "stopping fighters" you dumb. A true elite fighter must be good at stealing rounds and winning fights by decision. Why is Canelo elite? Because he is both KO and decision fighter. Bivol's last KO was in 2018 and this shows that he can box and rarely lose rounds.

Where did I write that bowing was “only about stopping fighters” dummy? A LHW going 12 rounds with guys who not ranked in the top 10 is not good no matter how you spin it. He’s only had 19 fights and it’ll show when he faces Canelo. He won a interim title and has done a good job holding on to it by playing it safe. I believe he won the title by beating Trent Broadhurst lol. Going 36 rounds with his last 3 opponents who are virtually unknown is not good for a LHW. You’d have a point if we were talking about guys at the lower weights

Pascal was washed all the way up. He went 12 rds with him while a guy like Kovalev stopped a younger version. I guess 37 y/o Barrera is his best win and that doesn’t prove much considering he lost to Jesse Hart a yr later. His resume is no better than Charlos. This is just my opinion if you feel differently that’s fine.

Anyway a prime Kovalev stops Bivol with ease. You must think you’re the gatekeeper of boxingscene?
