However, this site was somewhat better 2 years ago, but not by a whole lot. Anyway, I'm no boxing historian myself, I just like to converse about how a fight is gonna go down, give my 2cents.

Ethnic pride has alot to do with the stuff y'all are talkin' about. Most of the members here are Americans, and lately there really hasn't been too many American fighters to really get excited about.

The Europeans we don't get to see enough off, it also has to do with the RJJ era. He was such an amazing athlete that everybody else that came along later was overshadowed by RJJ's feats, kinda like Jordan for b-ball.

But, as a fan, I am very excited about this Super Six, and I think if Ward and Dirrell get far in the tourney, I think this place is gonna be buzzin' with the focus on the tourney.

nice post but i disagree about jones he was exciting but often ducked top comp in his prime ,there are a lot of fighters to talk about including fun to watch journey men.

You do I have point, I'm guilty of this also. Boxingscene has become Pacquiao/ Mayweather/ Marquez scene. I mean, Cotto is fighting Pacquiao but people aren't even talking about him. Also, Dawson vs Johnson rematch is coming up.

This place has definitely gone Mentally ******ed lol...

But that's partially Boxing's fault in general. I wouldn't be surprised if future fights are soley based on cherry picking from now on. That seems to be the general theme for success for fighters in the sport. lol Any fighter that tries to impose himself after a big win, usually gets swept under the rug for who ever is the power's favorite fighters.




I mean I'm still shocked that Hatton launched as high as he did, lol It kinda makes me even more sick that someone like Bojado dissapeared. That dude could have taken the 140lb division easily.

Nsb used to be an oasis of boxing but you turds have turned it into a 3 fighter catagory, are you fans of the sport or just gay guys hanging off of nut sacks,we have the super six and a lot of great fights on the way talk about them a litle before you bury them in nutthugging threads.

let people talk about who they want. as long as it's boxing it belongs on nsb.

yeah everyone is talking about only 3 guys (4 actually) but these are the 4 most popular fighters in boxing.
