Yes, you really didn't compare the two in this quote.

Everyone tries pressing Floyd and it don't work, it plays right into his hands.

If JMM is smart and tries something completely different he just might make Floyd unsettled enough to win.

His defensive sharpness is going to carry him to a win, especially late in the fight.

Look at Mayweather vs Corrales, Ndou, Gatti, etc. Floyd is one of the few fighters that can fight both offensively and defensively. Sure he doesn't like to get hit, who does? A lot of people overlook the fact that Floyd can begin operating like a surgeon once he figures out the strengths and weaknesses of his opposition. The big question in this fight is how will JMM take the right hand leads that Floyd landed on Hatton. The highest any of us have ever seen JMM weigh in is 135, and to me he looked small at that weight.

I don't think for a second that JMM will win a decision against Floyd. As they always said "don't hook with a hooker." To me, that may be Marquez' biggest weapon against PBF. Floyd has looked vulnerable to hooks in the past similar to Ali. If JMM can deliver a sharp, stinging left hook with consistency, that is his best chance to win the fight. JMM is a genius, but so is Floyd. This may turn into a chess match, and we all know JMM has been more susceptible to cuts than has Floyd. JMM is facing a whole different kind of fighter than Pac. Even though Pac is great and very dangerous, I see him as one dimensional. Once he learned he wasn't going to KO JMM early, did he change tactics? NO! Similar to Judah, once Judah learned that he wasn't effective against Floyd, did he change? NO! Once Tyson learned that he wasn't putting Holyfield or Lewis to sleep did he change? NO! Some fighters can only fight one way. These two, on the other hand, do have many tricks up their sleeves.

I've always thought the best way to beat Floyd would be to try to make him lead and counter him. Maybe the added pressure Floyd is under to score a knockout against a much smaller man will help JMM.

sometimes jmm will have to lead, sometimes he will have to counterpunch. what he should always do is throw combos.

I feel Marquez would be more effective fighting on the backfoot, making Mayweather come to him and counter Mayweather as he works his way in.

Marquez should not pressure Floyd, That would benefit Mayweather big time as Mayweather is very very effective countering of the back foot.

Either way though i think Marquez will lose, I am praying he wins though.
