Why didn't Whyte show up to the press conference?

Dillian Whyte along with Eddie Hearn have whined and pouted for years about not getting a shot at the WBC title.

The opportunity finally arrives and he doesn't even show up to the press.

Why didn't he? Is he still with the whiny and pouty attitude? Or is there a legit reason to why he didn't make it to the press.

Note: What Whyte is making in this fight is probably the most he has ever made for a fight, and it is UNprofessional to not show up to a title fight conference.

    Your thoughts.

He is getting severely underpaid. And I can't stand Whyte. But 20% is ridiculous.

He's apparently getting no upsides so hasn't bothered to show up to the pressers. Don't really blame him as it would really be putting more money in Fury's pocket.

And that doesn't negate the fact that I think Whyte is a shoddy boxer who belongs nowhere near the top 10...but pay men brave enough to get into the ring properly.

      Good point.
I think that is the reasoning behind this all, sounds right.
I mean, there has been no official report on it I think.
But I still think this is the most Whyte will be making in all his career for one fight. And that it looks REALLY bad on his part to not show up like that.

You’re just parroting what Warren said which also is a bunch of misinformation. The fight was unprofessional at the start with Arum asking the WBC to bend the rules for them in the split so whatever happens after that is just sour g****s ,a bigger fight required much better handling the opponent particularly in the U.K where Fury needs him .

We’ll see how much he “needs” Whyte when the numbers are released.

Whyte isn’t even a big draw over here, you guys are delusional man.

Amir Khan who is a far bigger name than Whyte ever will be over here, only got 5m versus Kell Brook yet you think Whyte is being mistreated in getting 8 MILLION. Absolutely delusional…

Whyte doesnt need to show up. They would probably spike his water. Can't trust these people.

              'he is getting 8m'
              now he is getting £6m.

Whyte's first ppv fight against AJ did 680k ppv buys on sky sports...
sky sports actually spent heavily on building up the aj vs brook fight. the whole point being to give sky sports and ben shalom more exposure when he needs it as a newb. so if it did big numbers, more than 600k, it's because of the promotional and marketing drive from sky sports to build it up, ie it cost them a lot of money and they likely will have lost money, but it would be worth it if it means ben shalom/boxxer become the number 1 promotion in the uk off the back of it or partly because of it.
18 July 2009 Amir Khan vs. Andreas Kotelnik Sky Box Office 100,000 [259] Adam Smith and Jim Watt
11 December 2010 Amir Khan vs. Marcos Maidana Sky Box Office 164,000 [264] Adam Smith and Jim Watt
16 April 2011 Amir Khan vs. Paul McCloskey Primetime 200,000 [265][262] Benny Ricardo and Duke McKenzie

those are terrible numbers, you might argue it was a long time ago but that was prime amir khan.
the truth is that Amir received a lot more attention because after 7/7, the uk needed integrated ******s who were pro british and amir did all that with the union jack hanging off his arse.
as soon as he ditched the jack, the uk media turned on him and amir has been HATED since. the losses only made it worse.

Amir was paid £4m+cut of the ppv...and whyte is getting £6m.

whyte vs fury is twice the fight brook vs khan is...of course bt sport won't promote it like sky did...and they'll blame whyte for not showing up lmfao.

He needs time to build up the courage to go face to face with Kronk Fury. Nash believes that he will turn up for his beating though. Fury has already won the first face off, he'll win the final press conference, then he will win the fight. Fury 3 Whyte 0. Nash out.
