What a G. Hope he gets a good pop from the crowd if they're familiar with his story.

I thankfully didn't have a spine injury but I did smash my tib/fib, all my toes, tore up my knee and foot (torn ligaments), etc, etc in a motorcycle accident (guy lost control of his car). Pretty bad tissue damage too (was still bleeding 4 months later). I really pushed training/rehab probably harder than I should have (the doctor told me "don't be an a55hole lol) but I was young and lucky I didn't cause more damage. Was also in pretty good shape prior so you certainly come back faster. Exactly one year after the accident I broke into a full sprint one night in a parking lot. Can't even describe the feeling. Did a half Ironman right before all this Covid crap so you learn to be more and more thankful as you get older.

That's crazy. What would he have to gain from such a thing? He's a ring announcer. No idea what actually happened but I do know he was back in the ring did the whole FIGHT STARTS NOW air punch and was like "holy ****" 2 months for a complete recovery??? They were talking spinal injury and "road to recovery" hell my girlfriends broken foot took 5 months before she could even walk on it somewhat normally. Also can't find a single hospital picture or anything. Makes you at least wonder why...

Yeah I made a thread about him possibly making it all up.

There seems to be absolutely no evidence that it happened.

I can’t say I’m an expert on spinal injuries but considering this was less than three months ago and he had to learn to walk again within three months and he’s back flying around the world, getting in and out of rings to announce fights, it just doesn’t seem believable me.
