just enjoy the action my friend and make up your own mind who the champions are. There's future opportunities there too - because of his continued streak, the next time GAR fights someone of Postols level the odds for a decision win will be more generous. Taylor most likely going to relinquish and so GAR will be up against Prograis or Ramirez or Zepeda at some point

Postol was getting hit a lot but a fighter with his experience and past performances deserved better. That was premature and Postol complained immediately after the stoppage.

Lol folks comparing pitty pat amateurs to professional ranks. Mark my words, should these two ever fight Boots will spark Russel and stretch him out.

Even though that was a TERRIBLE stoppage, that should not take away from Russell's performance. Postol showed he still was game as usual but Russell adjusted very well after the 5th or 6th round and took over to close the fight. That's what you want to see from a young fighter in his first step up.

Much respect to both fighters and that was just an awesome card top to bottom!

Postal did quite well for a 38 year old with a 18 month layoff, he almost closed Gray's right eye.

Scam stoppage that will detract from the goodwill Russell should have gotten from finishing strong like that.

Postol fought pretty well, he caught a rhythm and gave Russell something to think about in the mid-round. He landed a lot of very nice shots, if he had more power it might have been trouble because Russell was often running into them.

But I like Russell composure and grittiness; there was some awkward action and a headbutt that he didn't complain about; and he doesn't just accept a clinch, he fights out so he's not taking any crap either. Need more grimey guys like this

Postol was inspired so I like this win for Russell - but I think Postol gave some future Russell opponents something to look at
