Reasons why this fight will be a war:

1- Neither fighter knows how to hold.

2- Cotto is the bigger, stronger fighter and is good at putting pressure and closing distance when he wants to (which he will because his advantages seem obvious to him).

3- Pacquiao will try to box, but can and will get caught up in exchanges because he has a fighters' mentality built in.

4- Cotto's body work will slow Pac down in the mid rounds.

As for your post on Manny hitting harder... one guy has said that over IDK how many others saying they've never been hit with a punch as hard as Margarito's. But we'll never know as we never know if and or when he was loading his gloves, so lets just take Marg out of the picture. If it wasn't Cotto, i'd probably agree with you. But knowing Cotto, he's going after Manny regardless what Manny does, and knowing Manny, he won't back down and fight. Manny will be smart enough not to go toe to toe with Cotto ( i hope), but he'll exchange in and out. So the answer is you're wrong, this will be an exciting fight for the sole reason of both fighters personality and nature in the ring. Neither fighter are like Pvssy ass Mayweather who would rather run, play it safe, and try to win by points.

This fight is going to be exciting for sure. There is no way that Pac can outbox Cotto, can he wear him down and eventually knock him out yes that is a possibility, but he must make it past Cottos jab, which I beleive is the determining factor here. If he can some how make it past Cottos jab and land his power shot's its going to be good. Now if he cant make it past Cottos jab..its not going to be pretty for Pac.
